Vía Verde de Linares, ¡porque Jaén no solo son campos de olivos!

Llega Octubre y con él, la mejor época para disfrutar de la naturaleza en pleno otoño. ¡Y qué mejor que hacerlo recorriendo una fantástica Vía Verde! Este mes os proponemos la Vía Verde de Linares, en la provincia de Jaén. ¡No te lo pierdas!

Sin salir del municipio de Linares, se encuentra una vía verde ideal para recorrer tanto a pie como en bicicleta. A lo largo de 6 km, la Vía Verde de Linares os invita a conocer esta región de Jaén de una forma diferente.

Esta Vía une el centro de la ciudad con la Estación de Linares-Baeza. Sigue el trazado de la antigua vía de ferrocarril que un día llegó hasta Almería, de ahí que esta estación sea conocida como la Estación de Almería por los vecinos de la zona.

Este ferrocarril llegó con el objetivo de llevar el novedoso medio de transporte a la desamparada Andalucía Oriental. Con ello, se quería hacer más atractivo el transporte del plomo hasta el puerto almeriense debido al menos kilometraje entre ambas ciudades. Pero no se llegó a terminar hasta 1904. La línea dejó de funcionar 60 años más tarde debido a la crisis minera que azotó a la región.

Os recomendamos visitar el Centro de Interpretación del Paisaje Minero. Está situado en el antiguo muelle de carga de la Estación de Madrid. Se trata de un recorrido expositivo que analiza la historia y el desarrollo de la actividad minera en el “Distrito Minero de Linares”. El museo cuenta con paneles explicativos, vitrinas con objetos originales y maquetas. Es un punto de información turística.

La Vía Verde de Linares

El recorrido de la Vía Verde de Linares se encuentra resguardado a ambos lados por distintas especies de árboles, que suman más de 1.500 ejemplares. Cuenta con el toque especial de que dos Vías Pecuarias (Camino de Úbeda y Camino de Granada) atraviesan en diferentes puntos del trazado esta Vía Verde. ¡Seguro que os cruzáis con algún rebaño de ovejas o cabras!

La totalidad de su trazado discurre sobre el antiguo trazado del ferrocarril. Aunque encontraréis una suave pendiente para salvar el desnivel que hay al llegar cerca del Río Guadalimar. Gracias a la sencillez de su camino, hace que sea transitable tanto a pie, como con bicicleta de montaña e, incluso, con silla de ruedas.

A lo largo de la Vía Verde de Linares os encontraréis con hasta cinco áreas de descanso. Mención especial a una de ellas, ya que además de ofrecer bancos, mesas, fuentes y aparcabicis para que podáis recuperar el aliento. Además, ofrece unas fantásticas vistas del valle de Guadalimar y de los pueblos cercanos. De ahí que se le conozca como el Mirador del Valle y lo encontraréis en el punto kilométrico 1+621. Durante el camino, podréis disfrutar de la belleza de los tradicionales campos de olivos de la provincia de Jaén y de los recursos culturales que ofrece Linares.

Vía Verde de Dénia, ¡un paseo para todo tipo de aventurero!

Con la llegada de septiembre, a más de uno le apetece disfrutar de un agradable recorrido en plena naturaleza. Este mes, en nuestra propuesta para una aventura diferente nos vamos a recorrer la Vía Verde de Dénia. ¿Quién se apunta?

A lo largo de 6 km de recorrido, la Vía Verde de Dénia transcurre entre Dénia y el límite municipal Dénia-Els Poblets. Esta Vía Verde se corresponde en su extremo sur con la extinta línea de ferrocarril Carcagente/Carcaixent – Denia/Dénia, la vía estrecha más antigua de la Península que estuvo 90 años en funcionamiento. Tras 36 años de abandono, en los que se intentó reabrir el ferrocarril, la vía volvió a tener vida en 2010 gracias al impulso del Ayuntamiento de Dénia y las obras de acondicionamiento llevadas a cabo en el marco del Programa de Caminos Naturales del Ministerio de Medio Ambiente.

En la actualidad, son cientos de ciclistas y caminantes quienes recorren a diario los 5,8 km por el municipio de Dénia. Además, está adaptada para que nadie se quede sin disfrutar de sus preciosos paisajes.

Comienzo de la Vía Verde de Dénia

La Vía Verde de Dénia se inicia al norte de la ciudad, aunque está conectada desde el centro urbano con un carril bici que se inicia a los pies del castillo. Antes de partir, podéis visitar la antigua estación de tren, ahora convertida en Museo del Juguete. La Vía Verde inicia su recorrido en su primer tramo rodeada de naranjos, algarrobos y almendros. Cruza un desagüe y el barranco de la Morxama sobre pasarelas de madera. En la segunda área de descanso que encontraremos en el km 1,1 veremos un panel dedicado a la historia del antiguo ferrocarril que recorrió esta ruta con interesantes fotos de diferentes modelos de máquinas de tren.

La vía verde está señalizada por varios cruces a nivel de caminos rurales asfaltados. Son de tránsito moderado, que pueden llevarnos a la playa si los tomamos hacia la derecha. En uno de esos cruces, en el km 1,7, se levanta una antigua casilla de guardabarreras. En ella, todavía se aprecia la borrosa placa del antiguo P.K. 61,86. El área de descanso y el apeadero del Palmar del km. 3 aparecen tras pasar bajo el único paso superior de una carretera.

Al final del recorrido de la Vía Verde de Dénia

A partir de la cuarta área de descanso, situada en el km 3,7, la Vía Verde de Dénia traza nuevamente una larga recta entre naranjos, con la estampa de la Sierra Segaria dominando el paisaje. La pasarela metálica del río Alberca la encontraremos en el km 4,4. Sobre los estribos de piedra originales, permite cruzar uno de los entornos más sugerentes de toda la ruta.

Finalmente, en el km 5,8, que coincide con un área de descanso, finaliza la Vía Verde de Dénia. Eso sí, si queréis continuar un poco más, al seguir el trazado del antiguo ferrocarril, hoy de camino asfaltado, durante 1 km, llegaríamos hasta El Veger y que conecta con la Vía Verde de la Safor (Oliva – Gandía).

Para descansar

Para disfrutar de este precioso recorrido, os recomendamos descansar en Bungalows Los Llanos. Cuenta con bungalows para parejas, familias y grupos de amigos. Está a sólo 200 metros de la playa, por lo que podréis disfrutar de un paseo por la playa tras recorrer la fantástica Vía Verde de Dénia. ¡Seguro que lo disfrutáis tras contemplar las maravillosas vistas del Montgó durante todo el recorrido!

Vía Verde de Tarazonica, ¡un recorrido por las huertas del Ebro!

Tudela y Tarazona tiene tanto encanto, ¡que no sabríamos por donde empezar a descubrirla! Aunque siempre os recomendamos la más original: ¡a través de una Vía Verde! ¿Preparados para la aventura? ¡Nos vamos a conocer la Vía Verde de Tarazonica!

A lo largo de los 22 kilómetros que unen la ciudad de Tudela (Navarra) con Tarazona (Aragón), podréis disfrutar de los preciosos paisajes que nos regala el Moncayo. La Vía Verde de Tarazonica se puede recorrer tanto a pie, como a caballo o en bici, ya que su suelo mezcla asfalto con zahorra compactada.

Este recorrido reproduce el que antaño recorrió «El Tarazonica» o «El Escachamatas» desde 1885 hasta 1972. Se trataba de un modesto ferrocarril, de vía estrecha en sus inicios, que exploraba la línea entre Zaragoza y Miranda. Por la zona, es conocido por su poca eficiencia y lentitud, aunque se intentó solucionar cuando se ensancharon sus raíles en 1953.

La Vía Verde de Tarazonica comienza en la actual estación de ferrocarril de Tudela. Antes de iniciar la marcha, os recomendamos que conozcáis esta preciosa villa, además de los conjuntos monumentales que alberga. El recorrido debemos comenzarlo a través de un carril-bici sobre el Camino Caritat, a través de la cuál podremos ver una locomotora de vapor envuelta por juegos de agua. ¡Esta locomotora en otros tiempos llegó a circular por los raíles de la Tarazonica!

Durante el camino, cruzaréis alguna que otra huerta, seña de identidad de las tierras del Ebro y Queiles. También encontrareis una pequeña área de descanso con elementos que evocan el pasado ferroviario de esta ruta. Otro punto destacado de la Vía Verde de Tarazonica son las ruinas del poblado de Urzante y la antigua estación de tren de vía estrecha, a 10 km del inicio de la ruta, que se encuentra situado en una cota más alta que el moderno.

Nos despedimos de Navarra

En el km 12, en Tulebras, último pueblo de Navarra, encontraréis el Monasterio de Santa María de la Caridad. Fue el primer convento cisterciense femenino de España, creado en el siglo XII y muy ligado a la Vía Verde. Y es que este edificio de la antigua estación de Tulebras está incorporado dentro del conjunto monacal. ¡Sus andenes y porches abiertos son el disfrute de los pasajeros!

El final de nuestro recorrido, tras adentrarnos en una trinchera de casi dos kilómetros y pasar por Malón, llegaremos a Tarazona, cuya antigua estación hoy es un centro cultural. Os recomendamos visitar su valioso patrimonio arquitectónico ¡y recargar energías para la próxima aventura a través de una Vía Verde!

10 things that can not miss in your suitcase!

Summer is the favorite season for all of you 😎. Now is the time to do things that during the rest of the year we cannot, because the routine prevent us from doing so: work, children, school, university, the house… and we have very little time to rest. So when summer vacation we want to enjoy to the maximum the sun and the beach next to our loved ones.

And finally comes the moment most desired… we’re going on vacation!! Everything seems perfect until it reaches the time of doing the suitcase (damn suitcase) and there always the same question comes us: what took me?

The suitcase is filled with a thousand «just in case» that in the end we never got around to use. To avoid this, BungalowsClub becomes your best advisor. Brings you a list with 10 essentials you should never forget at home:

1) Mobile Charge

Undoubtedly, it is the fundamental element in any suitcase. Not in holidays we can live without mobile! What is going to be of you without upload a photo of the holidays? To avoid this tragedy, I recommend that you keep in your bag or backpack and this way you prevent from forgetting you!

2) Passport

5) Underwear

We are always waiting to pick the most ideal outfits that we have in the closet the more obvious this is a basic and fundamental! forget To avoid tragedies, we recommend that it is first in the bag!

6) First-aid kit

Hangover? Did the new sandals rub you? Pain in the gut? Mosquitoes? To avoid that the pains ruin your holiday, always carry in the suitcase a set of drugs with anti-inflammatory, analgesic, ointments to the bites…remember everything before it is too late!

7) Selfie stick

Holidays without photos are not holidays! Remember to take the stick to give envy to all your friends on social media… The photos in the beach can never be missing!

8) Plastic bags always in the suitcase!

Where do you save the dirty clothes? If you do not want to open the suitcase and find unpleasant smells, indispensable to put at least one bag!

9) Vanity case

Brush teeth, tooth paste, gel, shampoo, creams, deodorant and for the girls: makeup, wipes cleansers and shaving cream or razor blade… Essential if you don’t want to have more hairs account!

10) Tanning cream and sunscreen

If you do not want to return more red than a crab, remember to protect your skin from the sun!
