In Spain we have a big variety and quantity of mushrooms in our forest and today we are going to propose 4 places where you can find this delicacy so precious.
Madrid
The Community of Madrid counts with the forest full of mushrooms, as the ones of Pinares Llanos, Fuenfría and Lozoya. At the north of the community of Madrid, at the Parque Nacional de Guadarrama, we found one of the favourites villages to practice the mycology as Alameda del Valle. Here you can found edible as La Amanita Caesarea, Boletus Edulis or níscalos. Other perfect place is el Valle de Lozoya, where we can collect boletus, níscalos or mushrooms of cardo, into other ones. After of a tough day , the most crave it is to rest and you can do it from Las Casitas de la Poza, situated at the Gargantilla de Lozoya, surrounded of a wonder environment
Catalonia
One of the regions with more tradition on the collection of mushrooms is Catalonia. A little paradise mycologic is the Parque Natural del Montseny, in Barcelona. In first place, Marcarella and Marcarelleta: two of our favorites at just 15 km from Ciutadella. Both are connected by two small path. Macarelleta is maybe the one who has more charm, because of their waters, the situation and the difficul access, what’s makes it to be less fuller. The access by car is signposted and dispons of two parkings: one of payment, very close to the beach; and another one free service, but not that close.
In the second place, we recommended the Cala Rafalet, situated at 200 metres of Salgar. It has a lot of charm, above all by their situation and access. It is little known and reduced in size, but it is a great discovery. Is a shim great for diving and snorkeling.

Cala en Turqueta, is another of the zones from the Island. Very close to Marcarella, although with an access among pine trees of about 10-15 minute walk, which really worth it.
