Autumn’s colours in the mountain range of Madrid

Hayedo de Montejo is more impressive during Autumn and offers a spectacle of brown and slate colors that recreate their famous legend. A legend contains a story full of fantasy. Coal miners and woodsmen were crossing the beech forest and did not return. As legend has it the forest known as Chaparral, is inhabited by goblins and fairies who like to lure the walkers and hikers with their caresses and sweet songs, to drag them to their dens and turn them into lizards.
